This healthy, portable meal is the perfect way to start your morning!
We all have our signature Starbucks order. Whether you’re a frappuccino loyalist or just can’t get enough of its sous vide egg bites, many of us crave our favorite menu items every week (or day!). But eating out gets expensive and we don’t always have time to visit our local drive-through. That’s why copycat recipes are such a joy—all of the flavor without the fuss or expense.
This week, TikToker Chahinez (@thelifestyleofafoodie) graced us with a new copycat recipe for the Starbucks Spinach Feta Egg Wrap. The breakfast staple is delicious, healthy, and comes together in mere minutes. Check out the video and instructions below to make this Starbucks classic from the comfort of your own home.
To make the Starbucks Spinach Feta Egg wrap, you’ll need just five basic ingredients, plus olive oil, salt and pepper. Additionally, you’ll need a nonstick pan and a spatula.
Ingredients
Before you start cooking, be sure to separate the egg whites from the egg yolks, as everything comes together very quickly.
Olive oil, for frying
2 egg whites
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 whole wheat flour tortilla
About 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
1 to 2 ounces feta cheese
2 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes
Directions
Step 1: Prep your pan
Pour about a tablespoon of olive oil into a medium nonstick pan over medium heat.
Step 2: Cook your egg whites
When the oil is hot and shimmering, pour in the egg whites. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, until opaque and soft-firm. Form the egg whites into a rectangle, then slide them into the middle of the tortilla.
Step 3: Add spinach
Into the same pan, add the spinach. Gently salt and cook, stirring, until wilted. Add on top of the egg whites in the tortilla.
Step 4: Add cheese and tomatoes
Crumble the cheese into the wrap, then top with the sun-dried tomatoes.
Step 5: Roll it up
Roll the wrap up around the fillings. Then, fry the wrap in the nonstick pan on both sides until golden and crispy.
